Pan Lin’s paintings present a vibrant world of colors, with endless energy and vitality flowing between her brushstrokes. Painting is a tool for Pan Lin to analyze herself. She selects and classifies the images collected in life based on her personal feelings, reorganizes and deforms the image fragments through collage techniques, and reinterprets her delicate perception of visual experience through painting. She stays away from the constraints of empiricism, follows certain creative guidelines, and seeks the pure impulse of “wanting to paint”, expresses the feelings of the moment improvisationally, and highlights the existence of the state of “I am painting”. In recent years, Pan Lin’s inspiration comes from phrases, names, and poems. She uses painting to evoke self-perception to remember them, establish a personalized visual anchor for the text, and expand the possibility of her own painting

潘琳的画作呈现一个生机勃勃的色彩世界，笔触间流淌着无尽的能量与活力。绘画是潘琳剖析自我的工具，她依据个人感受对生活中收集到的图像进行筛选归类，通过拼贴手法将图像碎片重组变形，经由绘画重新诠释自身对视觉体验的细腻感知。她远离经验主义的束缚，遵循某种创作准则的同时，寻求“想要作画”的纯粹冲动，即兴表达瞬间的感受，凸显“我在画画” 这一状态的存在。近年来潘琳的灵感来源于词组、人名、诗歌，她以绘画的方式唤起自我感知去记忆它们，为文字建立个人化的视觉锚点，拓展自身绘画的可能性。
